Yes, that's right. It's sale time again here at Lint. Come on down Saturday and Sunday for your pick of sale delights. Want a little preview? Well, just for you loyal blog readers... How about Tempation by K1C2, Extra Fine Merino Aran and Chunky by Jaeger. Or what about a lovely hand-dyed yarn called Atacama by Aracauna Yarns. Or maybe a fine Donata by Adrienne Vittadini. Is that enough to tempt you my yarn loving friends? You know there's lots more waiting for you here. Plus, as always, there are prizes and special discounts for those who spend over $50 on sale stuff. Including some books and patterns! (We open at 10 on Saturday and 12 on Sunday.) Be there, or be square!
I'm having trouble getting the pictures of the finished library for you to see. Trust me, it's quite nice. The shelves are all natural with only a coating of linseed oil to protect the wood. It's so amazing to have something built just for Lint. The carpenters have done a beautiful job. If anyone is interested in procuring their services, you can contact Adam Lutz at 503.349.3783. I'll try to post pictures soon!
On Wednesday, we began to say goodbye to our old crappy bookshelves.
Look at these flimsy guys. Taking out the yarn and books...What a lot of books we had!Going...Gone! Time for something new!We had these beauties made just for us. The wood is reclaimed, so no trees were harmed in the production of these shelves. There's Peter in the blue shirt. (My husband.) And his co-worker, Tas. (A dear friend.) Looking Good!
